Advanced Drawing Project #1

For this project, I worked off of the prompt of “a panoramic view of an unknown place at night”. My initial intention was to explore three-point perspective because I had not experimented with linear perspective since the beginning of my freshman year in beginning drawing, so I thought it would be a nice way to begin this course as well. However, in order to create a more visually interesting piece I used acrylic paints, black paper, and abstract imagery. Overall, I am not entirely happy with the result primarily because the colors and composition don’t feel unified and fully developed.
