Advanced Photography Project #2

Because this project was much less conceptual while shooting, I was able to shoot more freely and explore the OES campus. I'm very happy with the photos, particularly for how I edited them. Although the composition and subject matter of the photos themselves were solid, I think it was the editing which made them more interesting. When I organized the photos I tried to lay them out according to overall color tone, so at the top of the gallery were the most "warm" photos and at the bottom were the most "cold". I greatly enjoyed practicing creating presets for future projects and attempting to emulate the look of color film photos I took previously. Although I was generally happy with the photos, I think some of them rely too heavily on the editing, and I wish that I had taken photos off campus to expand the possibilities for subject matter. I think generally I managed my time well because I effectively spaced out shooting and editing which allowed me to shoot on days with different lighting and at varying times.
